Mats is a consultant in investment, business & innovation, and is also an entrepreneur. He is the senior consultant with Future Place Leadership and has extensive international experience: From the Ericsson group to Business Sweden, to positions as an investment manager in corporations. He has also gone on to co-found several start-ups.
At Future Place Leadership, he specialises in investment promotion and Business Attraction Management, place marketing, digital transformation and the Internet of Things & robotics. Mats’ background in business allows him to share the investors’ perspective with his clients in the investment promotion field, where strategy work is combined with workshops and training.
Mats has advised and trained municipalities and regions in all the Nordic countries, including the Baltics. He ran an Investment Promotion in Nordic Cities and Regions project together with a network of 22 cities, regions and national Investment Promotion Agencies in 6 countries (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden).
